Andrea Tedesco’s and Abbie Hicks’ papers will be published in Georgia Southern’s undergraduate philosophy journal.

Anna Kushnir, a senior biology major at Rhodes, received an honorable mention award in Memphis magazine’s 2014 Fiction Contest for her story titled “Cherry Road.

The Rhodes mock trial teams finished their season in the top 10 having competed in the 48-team national championship tournament held this past weekend in Orlando, FL.

One of the largest events that the Kinney team hosts is Rites to Play, which brings together Rhodes students and Memphis youth, one of the program’s main goals.

History major Phoebe Strom ’14 has been named one of 15 national recipients of the Gilder Lehrman History Scholar Award.

Rhodes senior Isabel Buonopane will work in Turkey 2014-2015 as recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Student Award.

Matt Cannavo, a junior biochemistry and molecular biology major, has published research on Cystic fibrosis he completed as a St. Jude Summer Plus Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics.

Dr. Scott Newstok, associate professor of English at Rhodes, has been promoting the liberal arts at various institutions this semester.

Rhodes will showcase its arts program April 11-13.
