Copper Publishes New Book on Taiwan's Presidents

Dr. John F. Copper is the Stanley J. Buckman Distinguished Professor of International Studies (emeritus) and author of more than 40 books on Asia and international affairs. His newest book is Taiwan's Presidents: Profiles of the Majestic Six (Routledge, 2024).

According to its description, the book profiles Taiwan’s six key presidents, focusing on politics, economics, elections, successes and failures in office, popularity, and democratization.

Copper has spent more than 15 years in Asia teaching and doing research.
