Dr. James R. Hight, an orthodontist in Jackson, TN, is the new president-elect of the Tennessee Dental Association. He graduated from Rhodes in 1974 with a B.S. in chemistry.
Hight has 34 years in private practice with locations in Jackson, Lexington and Trenton, and he also is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Many students come to Rhodes with the intention of preparing for a career in the health profession, and the college’s liberal arts program allows for the development of skills and attributes that medical schools and most other health profession schools desire in their applicants.
