The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has just published a new course co-designed by Rhodes professor Kendra G. Hotz with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare surgeon Dr. Nia Zalamea.
The course is Introduction to Patient Centered Care and is required for IHI’s Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety. For more than 25 years, IHI has partnered with visionaries, leaders, and front-line practitioners around the globe to improve the health of individuals and populations.
Hotz is an associate professor of religious studies and coordinator of the urban and community health concentration at Rhodes.
