Lesley McClendon ’88 Recognized by PBS as One of America′s 100 Most Innovative Educators

Rhodes alumna Lesley McClendon this spring was recognized by the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) as a 2014 Learning Media Digital Innovators after a nationwide search. One hundred diverse educators from across the country were selected for their passion and commitment to innovative teaching practices that integrate digital media and technology in the classroom.

Additionally, McClendon was selected among the 16 top applicants to attend the 2014 PBS Learning Media Digital Summit held June 19-20 in Washington, D.C.

McClendon graduated from Rhodes in 1988 with a B.A. in English, and she currently teaches special education/language arts at Shiloh Middle School in Snellville, GA.
