Tennessee’s first school voucher program has been approved by the state Senate, and Rhodes′ Political Science Professor Marcus Pohlmann in his article in The Tennessean recommends that such a program should be based on solid data.
“Perhaps Tennessee can be a model,” he writes. “Let’s start by holding private schools to the same standards as public schools. Let’s develop a rating system for vouchers that does not penalize schools with higher percentages of lower-income students.” Read more.
