In an essay recently published in Inside Higher Ed, the Search program is described as “the defining academic experience at Rhodes” and “the soul of the college in some ways.” The essay was penned by Dr. Michael Nelson, Fulmer Professor of Political Science at Rhodes.
He describes the merits of serving on the Search faculty and says the program has even inspired similar courses at a number of other colleges and universities.
