Prof. Kendra Hotz Wins Award of Excellence for “Gluttony” Article

 

Dr. Kendra G. Hotz, assistant professor of religious studies at Rhodes, has received an Award of Excellence from the Associated Church Press, a national organization that honors religious print and online journalism. The award is for her article “Gluttony,” co-written with Dr. Matthew Mathews of the Memphis Theological Seminary. The article appeared in the Fall 2014 edition of Church Health Reader.

Hotz is director of the urban and community health concentration in Rhodes’ Urban Studies Program.
