Rhodes College has caught the eye of lifestyle magazine Southern Living and is featured in “The Most Beautiful College Campuses In The South.” In the article, writer Jennifer Chappell Smith describes Rhodes as a “haven inside the city,” noting its new and original Gothic-style buildings, some of which date back to 1925, and elegant oak trees grown with seedlings from Rhodes' original location in Clarksville, TN.
Campus improvements are ongoing, whether through major construction or minor enhancements, and prospective students and their families have several options to visit and explore the beautiful, nationally ranked campus.
A $500 campus visit grant is available upon admission to high school seniors graduating in May 2025 and who live outside of a 200-mile radius of campus or are a Shelby County resident who is Pell Grant qualified.
