Rhodes To Compete in Opening Round of Mock Trial Nationals This Weekend

Rhodes will take two mock trial teams to the Memphis opening round of the National Championship Tournament to be held March 22-24 in the Shelby County Court House and sponsored by the American Mock Trial Association.

Other schools participating in this weekend’s Memphis tournament include Vanderbilt University, University of Texas at Austin, American University, University of Washington, Baylor University, Gonzaga University, University of Tennessee, University of Alabama, and Southern Methodist University.

From the eight opening round sites, 48 teams will advance to the championship finals held this April in Washington, D.C.

The Rhodes Mock Trial program has invited Tennessee lawyers to participate as judges for the Memphis tournament that will consist of one round Friday afternoon, two on Saturday, and one on Sunday morning.
