Rhodes is included in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2015 to be released this week. Featuring more than 300 of the country’s best and most interesting colleges and universities, the guide assesses institutions on a broad range of subjects including student body, academics, social life, and financial aid.
The college has been included before in the guide edited by Edward B. Fiske, who served as education editor of the New York Times for 17 years.
With more than 50 majors and minors, Rhodes is a four-year, private, coeducational liberal arts and sciences college. Financial assistance is offered in several forms such as fellowships, scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. About 80 percent of students participate in service, 75 percent complete internships, and 65 percent study abroad or at off-campus sites in the U.S. In addition, the college has more than 100 student clubs, organizations, intramural and club sports as well as 21 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III intercollegiate teams.
