The Rhodes College men and women’s cross country teams came away victorious on Oct. 31 capturing their first ever Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships since joining the league in 2012.
The field hockey team went on to defeat Centre 1-0 and Transylvania 5-0 to earn the SAA Regular Season Co-Championship. Rhodes will host the SAA tournament on campus Nov. 6-8.
Both the women and men’s soccer teams won first-round SAA tournament games, thus advancing to the SAA Final Four, which will be played this weekend. The volleyball team travels to Conway, AR, for the SAA tournament, and the football team travels to Danville, KY, to take on Centre.
Congrats also to the women’s swimming and diving team for winning the Hendrix Invitational. The men’s team captured third place.
