Spin a globe, close your eyes, and point at it as it stops. Chances are, your finger lands where a member of the Rhodes community is currently furthering their studies abroad, taking the rigorous academic and leadership skills acquired in Memphis and applying them to issues on the global stage. Helmed by the Buckman Center for Global Engagement, Rhodes study abroad and study away efforts strongly contribute to creating a more secure and inclusive world built on solid international and cross-cultural relationships, while also making sure campus is a welcoming home for our international guests.
Many alumni finding success in the performing arts have taken the road less traveled towards their careers, pivoting away from successful (and stable) careers in advertising, business, and corporate life to fulfill their ambitions. And on stage, under the glow of the spotlight, Seth Herzog '92, Paul Ollinger '91, Doug Trapp '85, and Charles Holt '89 have found it all to be worth it.
