Bryce Hayes ’20 Named One of College Sports Communicators’ 30 Under 30

Bryce Hayes, who received a bachelor’s degree in history in 2020, has been named one of College Sports Communicators’ 30 Under 30 for 2024. He is the director of sports information and sports marketing at Texas Lutheran University.

The recognition honors up-and-coming strategic and creative athletics communications professionals. 

Hayes was a linebacker for the Rhodes football team, and he got his start in athletic communications producing various social media content for Rhodes Athletics. He hosted his own podcast, Can't Knock the Hustle, and served as a student assistant coach for the Rhodes softball team.

Also while a student at Rhodes, Hayes had the opportunity to work three Liberty Bowl games as well as the 2017 NCAA Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight in Memphis as a photographer and content creator.

Hayes has received other accolades for his work in athletics and served as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference SID Chair in 2023-24.
