English Professor Caki Wilkinson Publishes New Poem in The New Yorker

Award-winning poet Caki Wilkinson’s latest poem “Elvis Week” is published online and will appear in the Feb. 17 & 24, 2020 issue of The New Yorker magazine, which is noted for publishing some of today’s best writers and artists.

Wilkinson is an associate professor of English and director of creative writing at Rhodes, as well as 2003 Rhodes alumna. Her poems have won awards including the Lexi Rudnitsky/Editor’s Choice Award, the Vassar Miller Prize, and the Poetry Foundation’s Ruth Lilly Fellowship.
