Rhodes College welcomes eight new full-time faculty to its ranks for the 2025-2026 academic year, bringing talent in a number of specialties, from chemistry to interdisciplinary humanities to computer science.
New faculty members make up a small cohort who will receive guidance by faculty mentors. These mentors coordinate group and individual meetings, class observations, and programming.
The college offers more than 70 majors, minors, and interdisciplinary programs, and Rhodes professors equip students to think and understand in new ways through rigorous academics and opportunities for exploration outside of the classroom.
“We are delighted to welcome these eight outstanding individuals to Rhodes. They bring an enormous amount of expertise, creativity, and passion to the classroom. Their presence will make the Rhodes academic community even stronger,” said Dr. Timothy Huebner, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
