Rhodes College field hockey junior Hailey Mules has been named the fifth All-American in the program’s history after a record-breaking season with the Lynx, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The Baltimore, MD, native earned third team honors after earning first team All-Region accolades and being named Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Offensive Player of the Year. In the final NCAA DIII Rankings, Mules is second among all DIII players in two categories, averaging 1.50 goals per game and 3.94 points per game. She also averaged 0.94 assists per game, the third highest among her peers.
Mules finished the season as the conference and school all-time leader in goals (24) and points (63). She also tied the SAA record with 15 assists in a season, setting a new Rhodes record. Completing her rankings, Mules' six goals against Transylvania in the SAA Tournament tied the division-high for goals in a game this year.
Mules will head into her senior season ranked second all-time at Rhodes with 46 career goals scored and 114 career points.
