McCoy Theatre Earns 12 Ostrander Nominations, Including Best Production and Best Ensemble for "I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change"

The annual Ostrander Awards salute the best in local community and college theater, and this year Rhodes’ McCoy Theatre received 12 nominations in 11 categories of the college division. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, a musical that reflects changing norms of human intimacy in our increasingly technologically-mediated world, was nominated for Best Production and Best Ensemble. Professor Joy Brooke Fairfield was nominated for Best Direction for the same production and both Jessica Jai Johnson and Grace Small were nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Drama.

The ceremony will be held Aug. 25 at the Orpheum Theatre. Awards will be given in a wide range of categories including acting, directing, and back-stage contributions. McCoy Theatre received nominations in the following categories:
