Nathaniel Plemons, a senior history major from Arlington, TX, recently was awarded second place in the world history category for his paper delivered at the Phi Alpha Theta History honor society regional conference. His paper is titled “Gold & Power: How Hanseatic Economic Power Twisted Feudal Arms and Created a Merchant-Centric Culture.”
Plemons was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta in 2015, and he also is a founding member of the Rhodes Entrepreneurship Club. He plans to pursue a career in law.
