Prof. Fitz Gerald Begins Term on American Society of Plant Biologists Committee

Dr. Jonathan Fitz Gerald, associate professor of biology, has been elected to a three-year term on the Primarily Undergraduate Institutions Section Steering Committee of the American Society of Plant Biologists. The term began in July.
 
The American Society of Plant Biologists was founded in 1924 to promote the growth and development of plant biology, to encourage and publish research in plant biology, and to promote the interests, growth, and education of plant scientists in general.

Fitz Gerald’s research interests include molecular genetics, cell biology, plant genetics, and seed development.
