Dr. Michael LaRosa, associate professor of history at Rhodes, and alumnus Bryce W. Ashby '00 have published a commentary in The Tennessean addressing Tennessee enacting tuition equity to undocumented youth.
LaRosa regularly writes guest columns on immigration issues in the Mid-South and beyond. At Rhodes, his scholarship focuses on the social, political and religious history of Latin America. Ashby is an attorney and the current board chair of Latino Memphis, Inc.
