Dr. Shadrack Nasong’o, professor of international studies, has been awarded the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship, which provides African-born scholars participation in educational projects at higher education institutions in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.
This summer, Nasong’o will spend time at St. Paul’s University in Limuru, Kenya, where he will help with curriculum co-development, graduate student mentoring, and research collaboration.
Nasong’o received the fellowship in 2020 to visit Egerton University in Kenya.
