Dr. John Copper, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of International Studies at Rhodes College, has published a new book titled Donald J. Trump and China (Hamilton Books, 2019), which assesses the relationship between two world powers—the United States and China.
In the book, Copper examines President Trump’s views of China that developed before and after he entered office.
Copper is a globally renowned scholar in Asian affairs. While teaching at Rhodes, he testified several times before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee and its Sub-Committee on Asia and Pacific Affairs.
