The Rhodes College women’s golf won the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship on Sunday, April 24, for the third straight year. With the victory, the Lynx will compete in NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship to be held May 10-13 in Houston. According to Golfstat, the women’s team is ranked No. 1 in Division III as of April 25, 2016.
Also on Sunday, the baseball team defeated the Hendrix College Warriors and now will take on Birmingham-Southern in the SAA Championship Series beginning on Friday, April 29. The lacrosse team also outscored Birmingham-Southern and is headed back to SAA finals.
The women’s track and field team won its ninth straight track and field conference title over the weekend, and the men’s team came in third. The Lynx will take some time off and prepare for a last chance meet on May 19 at the Gregory Invitational in Naperville, IL, just one week before the National Championships in Waverly, IA.
