The Rhodes College Chapter (Gamma of Tennessee) of Phi Beta Kappa is pleased to announce that the following students were inducted into the prestigious honor society on May 15. Dr. Erin Dolgoy, associate professor of philosophy and politics and law, also was inducted as an Honorary Member.

Phi Beta Kappa Society is America's oldest honor society and is by invitation.  Since 1776, it has championed education in the arts and sciences, fostered freedom of thought, and recognized academic excellence. The Gamma of Tennessee Chapter was established at Rhodes in 1949. In addition to recognizing outstanding students and awarding the college’s highest academic honor (the Peyton Nalle Rhodes Prize), the chapter sponsors lectures by distinguished visiting scholars.
