Rhodes’ CODA Program Presents “Exhibition Momentum” Pairing Visual and Performance Art

On Feb. 28, Rhodes College’s Center for Outreach in Development of the Arts (CODA) will present "Exhibition Momentum," a juried exhibition of the best visual art paired with the best performance art. Free and open to the public, the event will be held 6-9 p.m. at 409 South Main Street. Complimentary beverages and hors d′oeuvres will be provided.

This is the fourth year of "Exhibition Momentum," organized by students, with more than 600 attendees last year. Participants are between ages 18 and 25 and will have a chance to win a cash prize for first place in their category along with a trophy made by juror and local artist Eli Gold.

A panel of judges along with the votes of those who attend the event will determine winners. Other judges include Jack Simon from Brister Street Productions, Lauren Kennedy from Ballet Memphis, and Holly Whitfield from the ILoveMemphis Blog.
