Rhodes College is pleased to announce the addition of nine new full-time faculty members for the 2026-2027 academic year. This talented group spans various specialties, including art, chemistry, psychology, and urban studies. The college offers more than 70 majors, minors, and interdisciplinary programs.

“We are proud to have recruited to our campus this year such an outstanding cohort of Rhodes teacher-scholars. Our faculty offer an exceptional learning experience in the classroom, and the close attention and mentoring they provide outside of class especially sets Rhodes apart,” noted Dr. Timothy S. Huebner, provost and vice president for academic affairs.

As part of their integration into the college community, new faculty members will receive support from faculty mentors, who will facilitate group and individual meetings, class observations, and enriching programming tailored to foster both professional growth and collaboration.
