Rhodes College has been designated as one of the “Best Value Colleges for 2024” by The Princeton Review. This is the sixth consecutive year it has made the list.
The education services company chose only 209 schools out of the more than 650 institutions it surveyed and tallied a return on investment (ROI) rating based on more than 40 data points including academics, affordability, and career preparation. Rhodes received a ROI score of 92 out of 99.
Although the 209 schools are not ranked hierarchically overall, they are ranked in various categories. Among private schools, Rhodes made the Top 50 Best Value Colleges and Top 20 Best Schools for Internships. Approximately 75 percent of Rhodes students complete at least one internship.
“We highly recommend the schools that made our Best Value Colleges lists for 2024,” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief at The Princeton Review. “They share three compelling distinctions. All provide outstanding academics. All support their undergraduates with stellar career services. All demonstrate impressive commitments to affordability via extremely generous financial aid for students with need and/or a comparatively low sticker price.”
The Rhodes experience combines rigorous academics, individualized mentoring by teacher-scholars, and opportunities through service, research, and work in Memphis and far beyond. Alumni consistently report long-term benefits, lifelong employability, and career advancement because of their education.
