Rhodes Is Featured in Condé Nast Traveler’s Current Gallery of Beautiful Colleges

Luxury and lifestyle travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler periodically puts together a gallery of campuses that catch their eye. In its July 24th online issue, editors have featured Rhodes College in “The 50 Most Beautiful College Campuses in America.”

References are made to the buildings that “are composed of various stones in different shades of warm natural colors, making each facade appear like a mosaic baked in the Southern sun.”

Students and visitors often become enamored when stepping on the Rhodes College for the first time, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person tours were suspended and “the virtual visit” was born. With this fresh take, visitors can experience Rhodes from their own home.

Visitors also have access to a new virtual 3-D campus map featuring building and spaces, accessibility entrances, and the campus arboretum. It’s a fun way to peruse points of interests as well as learn campus traditions.
