The highly anticipated Rhodes Giving Day was held April 8, and this year’s event met its goal of reaching 1,000 donors in just one day. The campaign received 1,003 gifts and raised $272,890, highlighting the commitment and passion of supporters.
Notably, the class 1999 emerged as a powerhouse of support, boasting the highest number of participants with 95 gifts.
Donations for Rhodes Giving Day came from alumni, devoted parents and grandparents, trustees, faculty and staff members, friends of the college, and even current students.
Rhodes has a rich tradition of research, innovation, and student success, and each contribution, no matter the size, plays a role to strengthen the college’s mission.
Continued support is invaluable, and it profoundly shapes the future of the Rhodes College community.
Rhodes College President Jennifer Collins thanked donors, saying, “I am deeply grateful for your continued commitment to Rhodes. Your generosity reflects the very best of this community, and it is an honor to see that spirit in action.”
