Rhodes College has made one of Forbes’ newest rankings: America’s Best Small Employers. Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista to survey workers at companies with between 200 and 1,000 employees. Only 300 institutions, from an initial pool of 10,000 businesses nationwide, made the inaugural list, released today.
Statista implemented a wide range of assessment tools including anonymous surveys of employees; tracking of job-related websites to gauge employer reputation, retention, and benefits; and analysis of news websites and social media to assess the company’s relationship with its employees.
“This recognition is a direct reflection of the extraordinarily talented and dedicated faculty and staff here at Rhodes,” said Kyle Webb, vice president for finance and business affairs. “Rhodes is a place where people at all levels care about the institution and its mission, and it is an honor to have that passion and commitment affirmed by being named to this select group of employers.”
Rhodes is committed to a diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and an inclusive campus community. Strategic staffing opportunities are identified to allow the college to better serve students. This culture, coupled with generous benefits, has made Rhodes an employer of choice.
Rhodes made Forbes’ List of America’s Top Colleges in 2022 and 2021.
