Rhodes College is one of the “Best Colleges in America 2024,” according to Money, and has received four out of five stars based on the company’s unique star system. Colleges were scored in three areas: quality, affordability, and future earning potential.
Money, which was founded in 1972 as a print magazine and has expanded into a personal finance digital platform, partnered with online personal finance company SoFi to release the list highlighting the country's top 745 out of an initial 2,400 four-year public and private nonprofit colleges.
"We hope students and parents use our list to discover new colleges that may be worth their attention, and perhaps more importantly, we want our analysis to encourage readers to think critically about what they're paying for college and what sort of outcomes they can expect in return," said Kaitlin Mulhere, education editor at Money.
The Rhodes experience combines rigorous academics, individualized mentoring by teacher-scholars, and opportunities through service, research, and work in Memphis and far beyond. Alumni consistently report long-term benefits, lifelong employability, and career advancement because of their education.
