Rhodes Once Again Makes Money’s Annual Best Colleges List

Rhodes College 2025 graduates lined up

Rhodes College, for the fourth consecutive year, has made Money’s annual Best Colleges in America list, which showcases the country’s top colleges and universities based on quality of education, affordability, and student outcomes. The company uses a unique star system, and Rhodes received four out of five stars.

Money, which was founded in 1972 as a print magazine and is now a personal finance digital platform, recently released the Best Colleges 2025 list highlighting more than 700 out of an initial 2,400 four-year public and private nonprofit colleges.

“Every year, Money weighs about two dozen data points to produce our final list,” wrote Money editor Kaitlin Mulhere. “But the measures that most influence the results tend to answer a few key questions: What does it cost students to attend this college? How many of them end up graduating? And what sorts of salaries do they earn once they do?”

The Rhodes experience combines rigorous academics, individualized mentoring by teacher-scholars, and opportunities through service, research, and work in Memphis and far beyond. Alumni consistently report long-term benefits, lifelong employability, and career advancement because of their education.
