Rhodes College has been recognized among “2025 Best Colleges in the U.S.” by The Wall Street Journal. The ranking was developed and executed in collaboration with research firms College Pulse and Statista to get feedback on student outcomes and value and includes the top 500 universities and colleges in the country.
Rhodes ranked second in Tennessee in the overall rankings and second for best salaries upon graduation, behind only Vanderbilt, far exceeding all other private and public universities and colleges in Tennessee.
In one of the largest ever independent surveys of college students in the U.S., more than 110,000 undergraduates and recent undergraduate alumni were asked by College Pulse to provide feedback on schools that are a great value to its students in terms of tuition, learning environment, degree completion, and the likelihood of a higher salary after graduation.
The student experience at Rhodes combines rigorous academics, individualized mentoring by teacher-scholars, and opportunities through service, research, and work in Memphis and far beyond. Alumni consistently report long-term benefits, lifelong employability, and career advancement because of their education.
Forbes also recently recognized Rhodes on its 2024-2025 List of America’s Top Colleges that features 500 schools “that produce successful, high-earning and influential graduates from all economic backgrounds, with less student debt.”
