Ethan Ferguson ’22, a tech entrepreneur, and Sherrie Lemons ’14, communications director at Planned Parenthood, are among the Memphis Flyer’s newly released “20 Under 30” list of individuals helping to shape Memphis’ future.

Ferguson is the founder of Augseption XR, which offers augmented reality services for education uses, and the co-founder (along with Brad Priester ’86) of Cinilope, which is developing new uses for drones. The 20-year-old sophomore also has worked with schools in Shelby County to promote the adoption of virtual and augmented reality in classroom curriculums.

Lemons started volunteering for Planned Parenthood while she was a Rhodes student, and she now serves on the organization’s leadership board. She graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in religious studies. In the Memphis Flyer article featuring all the “20 Under 30” honorees, Lemons says, “I truly want Memphis to be for everyone. I don’t want that to just be a tagline, putting a smile on a city that has struggled.”
