Rhodes Women’s Basketball Wins Third Straight SAA Tournament

For the third consecutive season, the Rhodes Women’s Basketball team won the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Women’s Basketball Tournament championship. The Lynx defeated (61-52) Centre College on Feb. 26.

The conference championship secures an automatic bid into the NCAA National Tournament. The Lynx travel to Lexington, KY, for their first-round game on March 3 against the site host and the second-ranked team in America, Transylvania University. Tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m.

Lynx who made the SAA All-Tournament Team include Alexys Mathangani (Most Valuable Player), Avery Marsh, and Giana Vlahakos.
