As part of Prof. Mona Kreitner’s  Fall 2015 Music and Healing course, students volunteer at Hope House, a non-profit that assists children and adults impacted by HIV and AIDS. 

Students in two Rhodes classes will get the opportunity to engage with Dr. Vincent Wimbush, a scholar of religion and the 2015 Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar.

Digital Technology Enhances Scholarship

Thanks to the recent major and minor fair held on campus, Rhodes students don’t have to feel like they are alone when making the decision that will shape the rest of their college careers.

Students in Prof. Nora Jabbour’s class will be educating the campus about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), celebrated in Mexico and Latin America countries to remember deceased friends and family. As part of this celebration, families and school children make altars with food, flowers, decorations and photos in memory of their loved ones.
