Prof. Charles McKinney of the Rhodes Department of History is guest speaker for the Oct. 14 forum on “Protest, Politics, and Perception” presented by Ohio University’s College of Arts and Sciences. His talk will focus on the politics of gender and race in organizing and electoral politics.
McKinney has written a number of articles focusing on school desegregation, electoral politics and the central role of women in the construction of freedom movements.
