Dr. William Skoog, conductor of the MasterSingers Chorale at Rhodes College, announces auditions for all voice parts for Spring 2013. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on campus in Hardie Auditorium located on the second floor of Palmer Hall.
Contact Debbie Smith at smithd@rhodes.edu to schedule an audition time. Individuals should bring a prepared song in any language (memorization optional). An accompanist will be provided.
The MasterSingers Chorale is made up of faculty, staff, students and alumni of Rhodes and various music professionals.
Rehearsals, which are held in Hardie Auditorium on the Rhodes campus, begin Tuesday, Feb. 12. The performance of J. S. Bach’s “Mass in B Minor,” with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, will be on April 28, 2013.
