Dr. Tara L. Webb has assumed the role of associate vice president for institutional effectiveness, following a national search. She comes to Rhodes College from Kalamazoo College, where she has worked since 2016 in the roles of director of institutional research, associate director of institutional research, and data specialist.

Prior to her tenure at Kalamazoo College, Webb served as a research methods and statistics lecturer at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where she also earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology.

“It is an honor to join the Rhodes community in this role, and I am excited to collaborate with colleagues across campus to support the college’s unique mission through data and analytics,” said Webb.

The associate vice president for institutional effectiveness reports to the provost and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data and analytics strategy to advance the strategic vision of the institution. In this important leadership role, Webb will provide comprehensive leadership in advancing evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with accreditation standards and reporting requirements.

“Academic Affairs is delighted to welcome Tara to our campus.  Not only is she an accomplished professional in the area of institutional research, Tara brings extensive experience as both a problem-solver and a strategist. She will be a key player in ensuring that Rhodes continues to thrive,” said Dr. Timothy Huebner, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
