Rhodes A mock trial team won the University of Iowa invitational held Dec. 2-3.
His teaching and research interests at Rhodes include early and 19th-century American literature, postcolonial studies, and critical race theory.

The award was announced at the Memphis Area Geographic Information Council conference held Nov. 16-17 at the Agricenter in Memphis.
The English teacher is recipient of the award, hailed by Teacher magazine as the “Oscars of Teaching.”
They are Mary Cat Cleavinger, Will Clinton, India Nikotich, Ryan Rosenkrantz, and Cody Stockton, who are all juniors.
The veteran Lynx coach is the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country South/Southeast Region Coach of the Year.
This summer, art fellows Jane Eskildsen ’19 and Reagan Alley ’18, with visual resources curator Rosie Meindl, began the work of bringing the Jessie L. Clough Art Memorial for Teaching at Rhodes into the digital age.
