From the attorneys who negotiate the label deals to the marketers who help propel artists through brand relationships, from the PR talents who help shape an artist’s narrative to the journalists covering every aspect of the business, fellows of Rhodes’ Mike Curb Institute for Music recently got to experience firsthand the inner workings of the entertainment business in New York City.

For an unprecedented 33rd consecutive year, Rhodes will be sending a mock trial team to the American Mock Trial Association National Championship Tournament in April. Two Rhodes teams qualified for the nationals after competing in an opening round of the tournament March 15-17.

Rather than heading home or to the beach this past spring break, Amri McCauley ’19, DJ McDowell ’21, Zara Raezer ’22, Candelaria Willoughby ’22, and Younjoo Lee ’22 spent their time visiting Southern sites with historical or current importance to civil and human rights movements.

A new report from the website PayScale.com reveals Rhodes College alumni are in the top 10 percent of higher education institutions for mid-career salary.

For the first time ever, the Rhodes College swimming and diving teams will send a participant from both the men's and women's teams to the 2019 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday-Saturday March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C.
