Rhodes alumna Roberta Moore has published a revised version of her environmental science senior seminar paper in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Pollution.

Prof. David McCarthy of the Department of Art will discuss “Is Art Our Last Safe Space?” as part of a panel at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, CA on Oct. 27. 

Prof. Charles McKinney of the Rhodes Department of History is guest speaker for the Oct. 14 forum on “Protest, Politics, and Perception” presented by Ohio University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Prof. Michael Nelson attended the second presidential debate and wrote about it for the Cook Political Report, one of the most respected political newsletters in the country.

Rhodes staff member Angela Fletcher recently was interviewed about her bloodhound, Maddy, and their search and rescue work.

Professors Charles McKinney and Robert Saxe will present their research at the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH ) Conference in Richmond, VA, Oct. 5-9.

Prof. Tim Huebner will discuss his new book, Liberty and Union: The Civil War Era and American Constitutionalism, at the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville.  

Dr. Pamela Church, chair of Rhodes’ Department of Business, was appointed to the State Board of Accountancy.  The term runs through June 30, 2019.

History alumnus Joe Thompson '08 is out in Hollywood and will make his national TV debut Oct. 27 on NBC sitcom “Superstore.”

Rhodes junior Joey Bartholomew was in Philadelphia working for the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC), participating in the political process first-hand.
