Rhodes College is among Forbes’ list of America’s Top Colleges for 2022.

“We’re proud to spotlight the colleges and universities that are offering top academics and career success while minimizing debt for students across America,” said Emma Whitford, senior education reporter at Forbes, in a news release. “We know that a college degree is a significant investment for any student, and one that’s been compounded by recent years of financial turmoil for many. This list reflects the public and private universities that are going above and beyond to deliver on that investment.”

Forbes ranked colleges and universities across the U.S. based on the return on investment and outcomes they delivered for their students. Schools placed well if their students graduated on time, secured high salaries and low debt, and went on to have successful careers. Of Forbes’ top 500 colleges and universities in the U.S., Rhodes came in overall at 160. Rhodes also ranked No. 3 in Tennessee and No. 30 in Small School Size.

Rhodes recently earned the No. 20 spot on the “Most Beautiful Campus” list of The Princeton Review’s latest college guide: The Best 388 Colleges: 2023 Edition.
