Austin Barringer ’19, a math major from Danville, KY, brings something different to the table when it comes to Rhodes College’s improvisational comedy troupe, Contents Under Pressure (CUP). Out of the 14 students in CUP, he’s the only one pursuing a STEM major.

Thomas Mitchell and Raven Burks were recognized Oct. 28 at the college’s homecoming football game.

The scholarships were announced at the RiverArtsFest Invitational Opening on Oct. 13.

Rhodes College has received another campus beauty designation. It is one of 14 “Most Beautiful College Campuses,” according to the Expedia travel website.

“Of course, there are thousands of pretty and scenic campuses across the nation, but these are 14 beautiful schools (in no particular order) that made us want to stake a spot on the quad…and maybe even hit the library,” says Expedia staff writer Chloe Mulliner.

Jamarr McCain ’19 is looking to create new dialogue and provide a more meaningful experience for students on campus as the newly appointed Black Student Association president.

Rhodes hosted acclaimed poet, essayist, and playwright Claudia Rankine as part of the Rhodes Reads program.
