When Helen Hope ’18 looks back on her childhood, she recalls a strong love for the outdoors. Now she combines that passion with the study of economics to help her develop an intersectional perspective on environmental issues.

Rhodes’ Postgraduate Scholarship Committee has selected Julie Coen ’18 and Caroline Clark ’15 to compete for the Luce Scholars Program, a nationally competitive fellowship program supported by the Henry Luce Foundation in New York. 

The annual guide features the nation’s best colleges for academics, career preparation, and affordability.

Rhodes College’s Postgraduate Scholarship Committee is endorsing three juniors to compete for the prestigious Truman Scholarship for 2018. They are Spencer Beckman, Dylan Craddock, and Anne Healy.

The overall list includes public, private, and liberal arts colleges and is based on academic quality as well as cost and financial-aid measures.
