Team Rhodes, made up of 126 Rhodes students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the college, recently participated in marathon weekend benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rhodes College junior Katherine Slatten was selected this year as a featured photo blogger for International Study Abroad (ISA). She has been publishing photos related to her experience in Florence, Italy.

A team of researchers including Rhodes Professor Sarah Boyle and four Rhodes alumni—Brittany Pope, Maggie Blake,  Stephen Leavelle, and Jennifer Marshall—have published an article in PLoS ONE along with several of the zoo’s scientists and elephant keepers.

Mark Behr, an internationally acclaimed novelist and professor of English Literature and Creative Writing at Rhodes College, passed away Nov. 27, in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the age of 52, of a heart attack. 

Rhodes mock trial teams will host and compete in the 16-team “Blues City Scrimmage” to be held on campus Dec. 5-6. The invitational tournament will take place in Buckman Hall.

The St. Jude Memphis Marathon is Saturday, Dec. 5, and new this year, the route goes through the Rhodes College campus.
