Rhodes students – who currently represent 47 states and 32 countries – are contributing to the Memphis community in immeasurable ways by fully engaging with the city’s culture, people, and causes.
On Saturday, January 16, Rhodes students will volunteer at local community sites to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King through service at one of fifteen service sites.
David McCarthy will discuss his recently-released book, American Artists Against War, 1935—2010 (University of California Press) on the Rhodes campus Jan. 28 and at the New York Public Library Feb. 10.
Mike Clary will retire as Rhodes College athletics director in spring 2016 after leading the program for 26 years.

After a national search, Dr. Milton Moreland has been named Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at Rhodes College.
The Mertie W. Buckman International Internship Program was initiated by a generous gift from the Buckman family to provide outstanding international studies majors at Rhodes opportunities to work outside the United States during the summer months.
