At Rhodes College, political involvement goes beyond student body elections to encompass local, state, and national elections.

Launched in 2013, An Evening at Elvis’ is a live music web-series filmed in the living room of Elvis Presley’s first home on Audubon Drive.

On June 12, 2016 around 2 AM a gunman entered an Orlando nightclub that catered to an LGBTQAIP clientele and opened fire killing approximately 49 people and leaving 53 people injured, some of them critically.

This spring semester, with the guidance of Rhodes’ Career Services office, Becky Kempf ’17 served as a development intern with Shelby Farms Park.

In 2006, Wigginton included Ali  in his book, The Strange Career of the Black Athlete, which draws on sports to discuss the history of race relations in America.

An essential part of Rhodes’ liberal arts approach to education is the Foundations curriculum, which encourages students to explore subject matter outside of their majors. The goal of this method is to enrich the student’s perspective and allow for greater depth and understanding of his or her chosen field.
